The term Hekau means “words of power.”  Another word that conveys the Goddess’s vocal power is “Logos.” Religiously speaking, the term “logos” means “the word of God, which itself has creative power; a hypostasis associated with divine wisdom.”

In Christianity, the term Logos is often used to refer to Jesus, but it was originally associated with the ubiquitous Great Mother Goddess.
