Peace and Greetings dear readers! I’m grateful that you’ve found your way to the Black Goddess Legacy Blog.
It’s been awhile since I’ve written or published anything about the book. It took me a while to decompress after all the time and energy I invested in researching, writing, illustrating, and publishing Black Goddess Legacy of the Sacred Feminine. Even though it was a lot of work, more than ten years worth, I do not regret even a moment of the time I invested. I have learned so much about goddesses, Amazons, Sibyls, Faeries, Sirens, and so much more; I feel that my investment of time, and effort has been repaid more than ten thousand times over!
So, now it’s time for me to get back to the business of discussing the subject matter of Black Goddess Legacy of the Sacred Feminine, i.e., Goddesses throughout mythology, history, religion, folklore, and spiritual tradition.
Art Exhibition
After publishing BGL I began to produce gallery sized pieces of the art and illustrations I created for the book. My first art exhibition and book signing was held at the Irwin House Gallery in Detroit, and I considered it to be a great success!

Not only did I get to introduce Black Goddess Legacy to the myriad of attendees, but I also sold every last book I had in stock, as well as several art pieces! The book has been very well received by women of all ages. Surprisingly several men also expressed their interest, and were indeed responsible for almost half the sales.
After the book signing I took a step back from Black Goddess Legacy to work on several other projects I’ve had brewing. I also wanted to give the book a chance to breathe. It’s been almost 3 full years since I published the book and I’m still getting positive feedback from readers.
What’s Next
I’ve begun working on the 2nd Edition of Black Goddess Legacy, as well as new artwork for the project. I’m also planning a second art exhibition featuring art from the book.
In the meantime, I plan to use this blog to share some of the art, and information from the book regarding the Goddess and the lore which attends her. Additionally, I’ll be sharing some of the goddess notes, sketches, references, and resources I’ve compiled over the years I’ve been researching the ubiquitous Mother Goddess, and her mysteries. Lastly, I’ll be sharing updates about upcoming events and venues where you can purchase Black Goddess Legacy.
Peace
